Bring your family and commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through the interactive exhibitions of the Center for Civil and Human Rights.
Courtesy of the generous support of FedEx, everyone receives free admission to the Center for Civil and Human Rights on April 4, 2018. The Center will extend its hours to 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on this day.
There will be onsite activities throughout the day that include:

Savannah College of Art & Design students created art pieces that explore the rapid development and growth of the City of Atlanta and the role Atlanta plays in living the legacy of Dr. King. - “I’ve Been to the Mountain Top” Performances
1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 PM in the Glenn Room on the First Floor
Austin Broughton performs Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I’ve Been to the Mountain Top” speech. - Global Bell Ringing Ceremony
7:01 PM on the Second Floor Main Lobby
Guests will join people around the world to commemorate the official moment of the commemoration of Dr. King’s assassination at 7:01 with a Bell Ringing.
